Consultations

Each artist handles their own bookings. We offer free consultations limited to 20 minutes. During your consultation, you and the artist will discuss the size and desired placement of your tattoo. It’s the perfect time to share your ideas so the artist can tailor the design to your vision. Please bring any reference photos you have to help guide the design process.

Please note, no sketches or drafts will be emailed or shown before your actual tattoo session. Any adjustments to your design will be made during your tattoo appointment.

Deposits Policy

When you're ready to get your tattoo, we'll need a non-refundable deposit to get started on the design and lock in your appointment. We'll talk over the details and the deposit amount during your consultation—the cost depends on the size and complexity of the piece. Just remember, your spot isn’t confirmed until the deposit is submitted. But don’t worry, it’ll go towards the final cost of your tattoo.

Just a heads up, you'll lose your deposit if:

  • You don’t appear to your scheduled tattoo appointment.

  • You arrive late to your appointment without prior communication.

  • You arrive without government-issued identification.

If any of these happen, you'll need to put down a new deposit to book another appointment. We’re all about giving you the best tattoo experience here at Rare Breed Ink, so please try to arrive on time!

Pricing

Our artists charge by the piece, not by the hour. The cost depends on the design, size, color, detail, and placement of your tattoo. We'll give you a price during your consultation. Keep in mind, any changes to the original design may affect the final cost.

We take on cover-ups and re-works on a case-by-case basis. Prices vary.

Cancellation Policy

We put a lot of time into preparing your design before your appointment. When a cancellation happens without enough notice, it can be hard for us to fill that time, which means lost income for our artists.

No Call/No Show: If you miss your appointment without notifying us, you'll lose your deposit and won't be able to book future appointments.

Cancellations: If you need to cancel, please let us know at least 7 days in advance. If you cancel without giving us a week's notice, you may need to put down a new deposit to book another appointment.

Rescheduling: You can reschedule your appointment with a 7-day notice, and we'll transfer your deposit to the new time. If you reschedule for the third time, the deposit may be forfeited and you may need to put down a new, full deposit to keep your slot.

Payment

You will be charged at the end of each tattoo session for the work completed that day. Please note, we are a cash-only studio, so come prepared. We currently don't have an ATM on the premises.
